Top students from Northwest Technology Center’s Fairview Campus, recently attended the Business Professionals of America (BPA) 2013 State Leadership Conference, “Uncover Your Magic,” in Tulsa, March 5-6, 2013.

BPA members placing first in an event include: Small Business Management Team members, Lan Espy, Lanita Davis, Miriam Renteria and LouAnn Rojas; George Williams, 1st, Information Technology Concepts; 2nd, Database Applications, 4th Place, PC Servicing and Troubleshooting. These students qualify to attend the national competition to be held in May.

Other BPA members receiving honors included: Connor Cusack, Fairview HS Senior, 3rd Place Graphic Design Promotion and Financial Math; Nataly Trejo, Ringwood HS Junior, Top Ten in Advanced Word Processing.

Local BPA chapter advisors attending were Lisa Fuller, Business & Informational Technology instructor and Jessica Schanbacher, Digital Design instructor.
