Hadwiger Earns Occupational Hearing Conservationist Certification

Northwest Technology Center announced today that Charlotte Hadwiger, Director of Business and Industry Services on the Alva campus has successfully completed a course to become certified as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist (COHC) administered by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Hadwiger joins over 21,000 COHCs throughout the world. Industry depends on its certified technicians who conduct audiometric testing as part of the hearing conservation team, to help prevent hearing loss among occupational workers.

The Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is promoting the conservation of hearing by enhancing the quality of occupational hearing conservation programs.
