NWTC students, Austin Turner and Tejay Purcell placed in the SkillsUSA Auto Tech District Contest held February 13, 2014, at Fairview. Turner placed first in the Post-Secondary Auto Tech Division and will go on to the statewide contest held in late April. Purcell placed sixth in the secondary division and is a student at Alva High School. Also competing in the secondary division, but not pictured, was Cale Angle from Cherokee High School. All three students are enrolled in the Automotive Technology Program at NWTC Alva Campus and their instructor is Ron Rader. View more news.
