Sexual Harassment

Students attending classes at NWTC, as well as employees and clients of the technology center, should be free from sexual harassment and/or a hostile sexual environment.  Under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) and its implementing regulations, no individual may be discriminated against on the basis of sex in any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.  Sexual harassment of students is a form of prohibited sex/gender discrimination.  Please find the Sexual Harassment Policy in its entirety in the Student Consumer Information Handbook at http://www.nwtech.edu/policies.htm, or obtain a hard copy of the handbook in the central office, the counselor’s office or the financial aid office.
