Northwest Tech Foundation

The Northwest Technology Center Foundation was founded in 1991 by several friends of Career and Technology Education. The Foundation is a 5013c and all contributions are tax deductible. Student scholarships, teacher grants, and leadership development activities are supported by foundation funds.

Leadership Development

The NWTC Foundation supports the Superintendent's Leadership Class. The class provides leadership development training for its members through monthly seminars and activities designed to prepare students to become future leaders.

Student Scholarships

Each year a portion of the monies raised by the Foundation will go to support scholarships for deserving students. This financial assistance may include books, tuition, and other educational costs. The Foundation Scholarship committee assists in the establishment of scholarships and the selection of the recipients.

Scholarship forms may be downloaded in MS Word format.

Getting Involved

The NWTC Foundation invites all students, former students, parents, staff and friends to be involved in its activities. An individual may choose to purchase a lifetime membership for $250 or an annual membership for $25. Corporatate partners may choose to purchase a lifetime membership for $1000 or an annual membership for $100. Members in good standing are allowed to vote at the Foundation's annual meeting and are offered the opportunity to hold office on the Board of Trustees if elected by the membership. All members are encouraged to participate in the annual golf tournament and to serve on various committees which support the NWTC Foundation activities. The Foundation uses donations and dues to support leadership development activities, provide scholarships, and to provide a source of income for school activities which are not in the scope of the institution's general fund.
