Gainful Employment Disclosure Information

The following information about CIP Codes, SOC Codes, On-Time Completion Rate and Job Placement Rate applies to all majors at NWTC both at Alva and Fairview.  For further Gainful Employment Disclosure Information for each major please click on the link for each major bottom of the page.

Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP Code)
The CIP Classification of Instructional Programs Code is listed under each program/major.  CIP codes are used to provide a standard way of classifying fields of study, mostly at the post-secondary (college/university) level. The codes are maintained by the National Center for Education Statistics. CIP Codes consist of a 2-6 digit number and may be a broad or specific categorization of a field of study.

Standard Occupational Classification (SOC Code)
The SOC Standard Occupational Classification Code is listed in under each program/major.  The (SOC) System was developed in response to the need for a universal occupational classification system. Such a classification system allows government agencies, private industry and you, the student, to produce comparable data about occupations. It is designed to cover all occupations in which work is performed for pay or profit, reflecting the current occupational structure in the United States.  You can access SOC Code information at www.onetcodeconnector.org

On-Time Completion Rate
The On Time Completion Rate lists percentages of students who completed programs/majors within the normal time frame (hours and weeks) that are approved for these majors.  Data for On Time Completion Rate is given from the most recently completed award year for which information is available.  That data is taken from the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education’s 2012-13 Completion Reports.  These reports are compiled by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education from data sent to them by NWTC’s instructional staff.

Job Placement Rate
Job Placement is given only for students completing in normal time; in jobs for related fields of study and were employed within 180 days of completion. Data for “Placement Rate” is given from the most recently completed award year for which information is available. That data is taken from the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education’s 2012-13 Placement Reports.  These reports are compiled by the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education from data sent to them by NWTC’s instructional staff.

Tuition and Fees Schedule       
The The following tuition and fees schedule is in effect for 2014-2015. This schedule applies to all majors at NWTC for both the Alva and Fairview campuses.

Tuition           
In District Adult   - $2.00 per hour
Out of District Adult - $4.00 per hour
In District High School  - No Tuition Charged
Out of District High School - $8,815 / semester

Adult Fees       
Material Use Fee - $0.50 per hour per major
