Several outstanding students were named during the awards ceremony at the Alva Campus on May 15, 2013. Three student enrolled in the Computer Technology program at Northwest Technology Center received the Outstanding Student Awards for their program. Pictured with their instructor following the awards presentation are: Andrea Long, instructor, Lydia Thompson, Seth Jordan and Sonya Vaughn. Two Auto Collision Technology students were selected as Outstanding Students for their program and were recognized at Northwest Technology Center’s annual Awards Assembly. They are: Regan Kraus and Chase Hickson. Jeff Owen is the instructor for the program. Northwest Technology Center students, Brooke Ortiz, Ashley Muhlbaier, Zain Jackson-Douglas and Kelsi Starks were recognized as Outstanding Students in the Health Careers Certification program by their instructor, Sarah Washburn. Four students in the Digital Design program at Northwest Technology Center’s Alva campus were recognized as Outstanding Students in the program. They are (l to r) Dianna Gonzalez, EmmaRae Cook, Tami Frascht, instructor, Conner Whitley and Megan Garnett. Ben Smith was recognized as the Outstanding Student in the Automotive Technology program at Northwest Technology Center during the recent Award’s Assembly. Smith is pictured above with Automotive Technology instructor, Ron Rader.
